The Montréal Victoire have added another veteran presence to their lineup signing forward Jade Downie-Landry to a one-year deal. Downie-Landry played U Sports hockey in Montreal, is a Quebec product, and also spent a season with the Montreal Force in the PHF prior to joining the PWHL.

“Jade combines offensive touch with a strong physical presence. She has the ability to generate offense, win puck battles, and shut down opposing threats, making her dependable and a difference-maker at both ends of the ice,” said Victoire General Manager Danièle Sauvageau.

The 29-year-old has spent the past two seasons with the PWHL's New York Sirens.

“It's a dream come true to represent my hometown. There's nothing more special than putting on a Victoire jersey and playing for a city and fans that mean so much to me,” said Downie-Landry.

Montréal has already added Shiann Darkangelo and Hayley Scamurra to their forward group, along with Jessica DiGirolamo and Maggie Flaherty to their blueline.
