Unless one of Boston's free agent invitees steals a roster spot in camp, PWHL Boston's  blueline is complete after they signed Jessica DiGirolamo to a two-year contract.

DiGirolamo's signing was announced as she gets ready to make her senior national team debut playing for Canada at the 2023-2024 Rivalry Series.

“Jess is a strong all-around, two-way defenseman," said Boston head coach Courtney Kessel.

At the NCAA level, DiGiloramo spent five seasons playing for Syracuse before making her professional debut last season with Team Adidas of the PWHPA.

"She is a great teammate and has an infectious personality that her teammates gravitate towards," said Kessel. "Jess captained Syracuse and has had the opportunity to represent Canada at the U18 and U22 levels. With our strong belief in development here in Boston, we look forward to watching Jess' career fully take off.”

DiGirolamo, 24, is a Mississauga, Ontario product, who Boston acquired with the 34th pick in the 2023 PWHL Draft.

“I'm wicked excited to be playing for Boston and can’t wait to head over to the east coast and get right to work," said DiGirolamo.
