St. Lawrence captain and Team Canada member Julia Gosling is forgoing her final season in the NCAA by declaring for the PWHL Draft.

Julia Gosling had a year left of NCAA eligibility because of the fifth year granted to players who entered the NCAA during the COVID impacted seasons.
The Canadian star and St. Lawrence University captain chose to forgo that fifth year, and is entering the PWHL Draft.
By entering the draft, Gosling immediately becomes one of the top five forwards available in the draft class alongside Canadian national teammates Sarah Fillier and Danielle Serdachny, American forward Hannah Bilka, and Finland's Noora Tulus.
This season the 23-year-old, 5-foot-10 Gosling scored 22 goals and 51 points in 37 games for St. Lawrence University. She added two goals for Canada at the World Championships, including a goal in the gold medal game against USA.
Gosling is a big bodied forward who can drive the play, and is not afraid to assert herself physically and as a net front presence. Her style often mimics current PWHL star Natalie Spooner in that she plays with speed and power.
Gosling will certainly grab a top 10 spot in the draft.
More to come.
