Minnesota Frost captain Kendall Coyne Schofield was considering her future, but has made the decision to return to the Minnesota Frost signing a two-year contract with the team.
The Minnesota Frost have re-signed captain Kendall Coyne Schofield to a two-year PWHL contract. Coyne Schofield was considering her future, and has decided to re-sign.
"My first three seasons in Minnesota have been unforgettable for my family and me,” said Coyne Schofield. “We’re thrilled to be back for the next two seasons and can’t wait to return for Season Four. I’m ready to put in the work to bring the Walter Cup back to Minnesota."
Coyne Schofield has 63 career points in 77 games for the Frost, and captained the team to a pair of Walter Cup titles.
The 34-year-old also won Olympic gold with USA in Milan and is a long time American national team member.
The Minnesota Frost now have 17 players under contract.
