Coyne Schofield To Voice A Disney Pixar Character in Inside Out 2

Disney Pixar's "Inside Out" was a blockbuster and critical hit grossing $858.8 million at the box office, and winning Best Animated Feature at the 88th Academy Awards.

This summer, a sequel, "Inside Out 2" will come to theatres, and there will be a familiar voice to the hockey world involved, as PWHL Minnesota captain and long time Team USA star Kendall Coyne Schofield will voice a character in the movie.

In Inside Out, Riley, voiced by Kaitlyn Dias, deals with a variety of emotions, from Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear, but in the sequel, new emotions like anxiety, ennui, and embarrassment join the foray.

As seen in the original film, one of Riley's favorite activities, where she's happiest and most confident, is playing for her girls hockey team.

It's an aspect of the film that appears prevalent in the trailer again this time around, including the introduction of a cool new hockey player voiced by Lilimar Hernandez.

As Coyne Schofield announced on social media, "Thrilled to share this news! Excited beyond words to announce I voice a character in Disney & Pixar’s @PixarInsideOut 2! Grateful to @Disney & @Pixar for this opportunity. Can’t wait for you to see the magical #InsideOut2, only in theaters June 14!"
