Kori Cheverie has worked with the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins as a guest coach, now she'll return to the city as a guest as head coach of PWHL Montreal for the PWHL's Takeover Weekend.
Kori Cheverie joined the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins as a guest coach this summer, being added to the team's staff by GM Kyle Dubas.
She'll return to Pittsburgh's PPG Arena this week, but this time as a guest to the city, not the team, as head coach of PWHL Montreal.
"Pittsburgh has always had such an amazing history of growing the game," said Cheverie.
"How they made me feel as a coach coming into their organization is something I'll never forget," she added.
PWHL Montreal is set to face PWHL Toronto as part of the league's PWHL Takeover Weekend in Pittsburgh on Sunday March 17 at 12:30pm as part of a doubleheader with the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins that day.
