Three members of the PWHL's Montreal Victoire skated separate from their teammates to open camp, and the team confirmed Dominika Laskova and Kennedy Marchment will not be ready in time for the season to start.

It was Montreal Victoire’s first practice of the season yesterday and some news came from the Verdun Auditorium.
First off, GM Daniele Sauvageau and head coach Kori Cheverie gave an update on the injury list. Dominika Laskova, Kennedy Marchment and Amanda Boulier were all wearing blue jerseys and skated before the rest of the group.
Sauvageau confirmed that Laskova and Marchment won’t be in the line-up when the season starts on November 30. As far as Boulier, Cheverie said that “she was fairly close on coming back.” She seemed to have some trouble skating, suspecting a lower body injury, although nothing was confirmed by the team.
Regarding Cayla Barnes, Sauvageau was optimistic, although couldn’t say if Barnes would be ready to start the season.
“She arrived on Monday. We must really have the evaluation that was made by her national team and have the exams from our specialists. In a few days, I'll have a better idea of when she will be able to return. But it's better than it looked, so it’s encouraging.”
Also, to the surprise of everyone, forward Catherine Dubois was not on the ice. According to Sauvageau, it’s not an injury, it’s a medical condition that will make her miss the first week of training and most probably the second week as well. Nothing more precise was said about her condition, but from what The Hockey News was able to learn. it seems to have happened recently,
On the positive side of things, Marie-Philip Poulin, who hit the ramp quite hard during Game 2 of the Rivalry Series, said that she was 100%.
