A web page was briefly visible to the public on Friday announcing Cara Gardner Morey as the new general manager of PWHL Vancouver.

The web page, which had the URL headline "PWHL Vancouver Names Cara Gardner Morey As General Manager" quickly disappeared, and now leads to a 404 Error.

The page, which was published around 10am on Friday, however, is still visible in Google with a snippet announcing Gardner Morey as general manager.

Cara Gardner Morey, 46, has served as the head coach of Princeton University's women's hockey team for the past eight seasons coaching current PWHL players including Sarah Fillier, Claire Thompson, Maggie Connors, and Mariah Keopple. Some of those players will be available to Gardner Morey through the expansion process.

Prior to becoming Princeton's head coach, Gardner Morey was an assistant at the University for six years. She also coached youth hockey in Arizona, and spent a year as an assistant at Robert Morris.

As a player, Gardner Morey was a defender at Brown and played professionally in the original NWHL.
