While Alina Muller will go down as the first European born player drafted in the inaugural PWHL Draft, Lina Ljungblom will hold other notable designations.

When Montreal used their final pick in the PWHL Draft to choose Ljungblom, she immediately stole history.

Ljungblom is the youngest player to be selected in the PWHL Draft at 21-years-old, and is also the first European player who played in Europe last year, and was signed to play in Europe this season selected.

Last season Ljungblom scored 30 points in 32 games for MoDo in Sweden's SDHL. At the World Championships, she was Sweden's top scorer recording seven goals and 10 points for her nation in seven games.

The centre has shown proficiency in the face-off circle twice recording the best face-off percentage in the SDHL.
