Updates from day one of the PHWL Preseason Camp in Utica, New York:

6:11: Bach Is Back With Toronto

One of the biggest question marks heading into the preseason camp was the status of Toronto's Victoria Bach. Bach however, was on the ice with Toronto at the opening night of the Preseason Camp. Bach took some reps in drills alongside Sarah Nurse and Blayre Turnbull to open practice.

    5:25pm: Montreal's Misses Practice

PWHL Montreal got delayed in their arrival causing the team to focus on off-ice preparations as they had to forgo their practice time. Instead, Toronto's goaltending group of Erica Howe, Kristen Campbell, Carly Jackson and Amanda Makela took to the ice early bring put through the paces in a goalie-only session.

    4:44pm: Ottawa Takes The Ice

PWHL Ottawa took to the ice focusing in on game situation drills, a scrimmage, and competition.

3:40pm, Sunday, December 3 - New York Takes The Ice

PWHL took to the ice on Sunday. Still absent from the practice were defender Micah Zandee-Hart and Madison Packer who are both dealing with injuries. New York had a few lines that consistently ran drills together including Eldridge, Giguere, and Carpenter who took most of their reps together.

2:04pm: Sunday, December 3 - Potential for experimentation

The PWHL will be testing out a variety of items during their Preseason Camp this week. Not only will the league look to iron out game day procedures, they'll also potentially be testing items that may or may not appear in their inaugural season. The "scrimmages" will follow the normal NHL rulebook, but there may be game-to-game variations in certain rules, potentially including different powerplay and icing rules. The league may also run overtime and shootouts regardless of the game scores to allow teams to practice these situations, and evaluate players in different scenarios. There is a chance the league will try out other items, including in-game music. The preseason camp will focus on player evaluation, but will also look to test a variety of game day scenarios with a focus on providing the best on and off-ice product and environment for fans and players.

11:30am: Sunday, December 3 - Season tickets, team practices

Four of the PWHL's six teams will take the ice today in preparation for the PWHL's Preseason Evaluation Camp at the Mastrovito Hyundai Rink in the Utica University Nexus Center. New York, Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto are the four teams who will take to the ice first in Utica for practices on Sunday beginning at 3pm.

The PWHL also sent out an update to fans Sunday morning announcing that Season Tickets will go on sale to all fans Monday, December 4 at 10am.
