    A month ago, PWHL New York announced they had signed Jessie Eldridge to a two-year contract. Following her performance in the PWHL preseason, New York felt Eldridge had proved she deserved more.

    This week Eldridge's contract was changed to a three-year guaranteed deal as outlined by the PWHLPA / PWHL CBA.

    Eldridge, 25, was the 16th overall pick in the inaugural PWHL Draft and was one of the top scorers in the PWHPA last season recording 22 points in 20 games for Team Harvey's.

    In 2022, Eldridge made her senior national team debut for Team Canada winning gold at the World Championships recording two points in seven games.

    Eldridge was the top scorer league wide in the PWHL preseason finishing with three goals and six points in three games.
