The Minnesota Frost are now one win away from being back-to-back Walter Cup champions. Last year they beat the Boston Fleet in five games, and have the chance to clinch a win in 2025 in game four against the Ottawa Charge.

The Charge, making their first ever playoff appearance, will look to stave off elimination in another do or die game.

"Everyone on the two great teams in the Finals wants it so bad and I think that's a testament to the low scoring. We’re seeing great goalies, great teams with depth on both sides. It's fun hockey. We're having a blast. So, we’re excited that there is another game ahead of us," said Ottawa Charge forward Emily Clark.

"I feel like as though almost...our second half of the season has kind of been a do or die situation," said Rebecca Leslie of Ottawa. "So we've been in these moments before, and I think, as female hockey players, you know, you're in these moments a lot more frequently than the men and World Championships, National Championships in college. So we're ready for these moments."

Game four will be played Monday night in Minnesota.

All three games of the PWHL Walter Cup finals have gone into overtime with each game being decided by a 2-1 score.
