The Minnesota Frost have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with forward Katy Knoll. Knoll was a rookie out of Northeastern last year, and played an integral role in the Frost's 2025 Walter Cup win.

"We couldn’t be more excited to keep Katy in purple. Her relentless drive and competitive spirit embody everything we stand for,” said Frost General Manager Melissa Caruso. “We know we can count on her to continue to bring energy and a team first mindset to our group and we can't wait to see what she will accomplish in Season Three."

Knoll recorded two points in 21 regular season games as a rookie, but upped her output to two goals and five points in only eight playoff games. One of her goals was the triple-overtime winner in game three of the Walter Cup finals over the Ottawa Charge.

"I am so excited to be returning to the Frost next season and continue to build off of the great success the team has had the last two years," said Knoll. "I’m looking forward to seeing all the fans and getting back to work with the team in the fall."

The Minnesota Frost brought in free agent defender Sidney Morin earlier this offseason. They also re-signed Claire Butorac, Mae Batherson, Natalie Buchbinder, and Maddie Rooney.
