After being lost for three days, the Montreal Victorie’s missing Walter Cup has been found, and is back on the road with players celebrating their 2026 PWHL title.
After three days missing, the Montreal Victoire’s Walter Cup trophy is back on the road with the team.
The trophy was missing after not arriving at an event in Lethbridge, Alberta where Victoire forward Dara Greig was set to celebrate and be feted by the community.
“The Walter Cup keeper trophy awarded to the Montréal Victoire, which did not arrive at its scheduled stop last week, has been located and is safely back with the team after being lost in shipment,” a league spokesperson told The Hockey News.
“Thank you to everyone who helped track it down and to our fans for their concern and support. “
“Turns out, even the Walter Cup can have a little offseason adventure. We’re looking forward to the Victoire continuing their celebrations alongside their Cup!”
The missing replica Cup will now take to the road again with members of the Montreal Victoire who are celebrating winning the 2025-26 PWHL title.
