
Kristen O'Neill has signed a three-year contract with Montreal in the PWHL

PWHL Montreal has signed Team Canada member Kristen O'Neill to a three-year contract heading into the team and league's inaugural season.
O'Neill, 25, was Montreal's second round pick, 7th overall at the PWHL Draft in September.
A member of the Canadian national team, O'Neill finished fifth in PWHPA scoring last season and tied for the Team Adidas lead recording 21 points in 20 games. O'Neill is a graduate of Cornell University where she captained the team in 2019-2020 scoring 40 points in 30 games as a senior.
Internationally, O'Neill has represented Canada at the last three World Championships winning two gold and a silver medal. She also won a pair of silver medals representing Canada at the U-18 World Championships.
O'Neill is the fourth player signed by Montreal to the mandatory three-year guaranteed contracts joining Marie-Philip Poulin, Laura Stacey, and Ann-Renee Desbiens.
