The Montreal Victoire have re-signed forward Abby Roque to a two-year Standard Player Agreement

On Wednesday, the Montréal Victoire announced that the organization has re-signed forward Abby Roque to a two-year Standard Player Agreement as part of Phase 5 of the PWHL’s Expansion Player Distribution Process.

During the regular season, her first with the Victoire, Roque finished with 22 points in 29 regular-season games, and then went on to add eight points through the team's nine postseason games, becoming an integral part of the team's success and their Walter Cup victory. Those point totals during the regular season marked the third consecutive year in which Roque has seen her totals increase.

Roque spent the first two seasons of her PWHL career with the New York Sirens, recording 30 points in 54 games. Roque has also represented the United States internationally, where she earned a silver medal at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing and three medals at the IIHF Women’s World Championship.

The signing of Roque brings the team's roster to nine players under contract for next season, including forwards Marie-Philip Poulin, Laura Stacey, Lina Ljungblom, and Catherine Dubois, defenders Maggie Flaherty, Kati Tabin, and Jessica DiGirolamo, and goaltender Ann-Renée Desbiens.
