PWHL New York has signed Noora Tulus, the leading scorer of Sweden's SDHL last year, and a long time Finnish national team star to a two-year contract.
“Her extensive international experience and repeated success make this veteran player an important addition to our organization,” said PWHL New York General Manager Pascal Daoust. “Her leadership and talent on the ice will make each of her teammates even better. I’m very happy to welcome Noora to the New York family!”
Tulus was selected in the third round, 13th overall by New York in the 2024 PWHL Draft. On the international stage, Tulus is a two-time Olympian and won two bronze medals with Finland in 2018 and 2022. She has also represented her country at eight IIHF Women’s World Championships where she has won a silver medal and four bronze medals.
“I am excited and grateful to be joining the team and can’t wait to meet the players, staff members and fans,” said Tulus. “I’m really looking forward to jumping on the ice with the team, and I can’t wait to see what this new chapter will bring to me.”
