
PWHL Las Vegas has locked in their new starting goaltender signing Nicole Hensley to a two-year PWHL contract.
PWHL Las Vegas has their starting goaltender of their inaugural season after signing Olympic gold medalist and Walter Cup champion Nicole Hensley.
Hensley signed a two-year contract after spending her first three seasons in the PWHL with the Minnesota Frost, winning a pair of Walter Cup champions.
Hensley, 31, a Colorado product recorded a 2.69 GAA and .908 save percentage last season with the Minnesota Frost. She was also the Frost’s 2024-25 Intact Impact Award winner, "an honor bestowed upon one player from each team who consistently went the extra mile to help the team and be a great teammate by displaying exceptional leadership, integrity, and an unwavering commitment."
Internationally, Hensley won Olympic gold in 2018 and silver in 2022 as a member of Team USA. She also has three World Championship gold medals and three silver medals.
Las Vegas has now signed Kendall Cooper, Mae Batherson, Erin Ambrose, and Megan Carter to their blueline, along with Hayley Scamurra up front.
