    The PWHL offseason is firmly underway with players shifting from recovery and vacation mode into training. The Walter Cup has been making its rounds with members of the Minnesota Frost, wedding season is underway, and players are running camps and participating in other events.

    For fans, it's a dark time as they look to stay connected to their favorite athletes, even if it's off the ice. Here's a look at what some of the PWHL's players are up to this offseason.

    Dominique Petrie Goes Hollywood

    The PWHL wasn't acknowledged or nominated for an ESPY Award, but California native Dominique Petrie didn't let that stop her from walking the red carpet and attending one of sport's biggest nights. Hosted at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, the same location as the Academy Awards, the night is a who's who of sport and pop culture. 

    Petrie also made a stop at Universal Studios to appear on an episode of Access Hollywood, and threw out the first pitch at a Los Angeles Dodgers game, a team owned by PWHL owner Mark Walter.

    Heise Says Yes

    Taylor Heise recently finished her first TH27 Camp, a girls hockey camp she ran at the University of Minnesota. Heise also had another major personal moment this summer getting engaged to now fiancee Parker Fox on June 28. It was a moment she announced on social media.

    Summer Hockey Continues

    Dozens of PWHL players are participating in league's like Minnesota's Da Beauty League or Quebec's Living Sisu Hockey League.

    There are many memorable moments in these leagues, including finding a worthy opponent for Marie-Philip Poulin.

    Laura Stacey is another member of the LSHL, and she is also making a major impact this offseason witih the LS7 #SticksInForCharity event. Her annual road hockey tournament recently raised $65,000 for charity, and she's set to expand the event to include a Montreal stop later this summer.
