A weekly look at what players from across the PWHL are up to during their offseason. This week it includes marriage proposals, opening pitches, national team appearances, championship celebrations, and a visit to the golf course.

With the offseason here, each week we'll provide a snapshot of what your favorite PWHL players are up to in the offseason. This week we look at some crossover appearances for players from Toronto, Montreal, and Minnesota at other professional sporting events, an engagement, and more.

Here's a look at the offseason plans for PWHL players in the first week of June.

Jackson and Turnbull Tossing Strikes

PWHL Toronto captain Blayre Turnbull and netminder Carly Jackson were on hand this week when Toronto Blue Jays hosted the Pittsburgh Pirates to throw out the opening pitch. The duo also played a little catch on the field.

Sarah Nurse At The RBC Canadian Open

You could insert a stereotypical joke about Toronto hockey teams and golf, but that wouldn't be fitting for Sarah Nurse's stop at the PGA Tour's RBC Canadian Open. Scotland's Robert MacIntyre was the eventual winner shooting -16 at Hamilton Golf & Country Club. Nurse was one of several PWHL Toronto players, a list that also included Carly Jackson, Erica Howe, Emma Maltais, Jess Jones, and Alexa Vasko.

Minnesota Celebrating

Members of PWHL Minnesota are still on their celebration tour, including making stops to be acknowledged by other Minnesota professional teams. This week members of PWHL Minnesota showed off the Walter Cup on the hardcourt prior to a game between the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx and the Dallas Wings.

Savannah Harmon Gets Engaged

Along the St. Lawrence River with Montreal's famed clock tower in the backdrop, PWHL Ottawa defender Savannah Harmon and boyfriend Devin Brosseau got engaged in late May. The duo were both captains for Clarkson's women's and men's hockey teams. Brosseau is also a professional hockey player scoring 23 goals and 35 points in 67 games in the KHL last season with the Kunlun Red Star. He's signed to return to the league to play for Amur Khabarovsk next season, while Harmon is on a three-year contract with PWHL Ottawa.

Canadian Icons Meet Canadian Icons

Marie-Philip Poulin, Laura Stacey, Erin Ambrose, and Maureen Murphy and other members of PWHL Montreal took in Canada's national soccer team's international friendly against Mexico this week at the Summer Send Off Series in Montreal. Canada beat Mexico 2-0.
