PWHL Minnesota has signed USA national team netminder and former World Championship top goalie Nicole Hensley to a three-year contract.

Minnesota has secured their starting netminder signing Olympic and World Championship gold medalist Nicole Hensley to a three-year contract.

Hensley has been representing Team USA since the 2016 season winning three World Championship gold medals and an Olympic medal as well as three silvers in those events.

Hensley was also named the Best Goaltender at the 2022 World Championships posting a 1.08 GAA and .930 save percentage at the event. 

Following her NCAA career at Lindenwood, Hensley turned professional spending one season with the NWHL's Buffalo Beauts before spending the next seasons with the PWHPA.

Last year Hensley posted a 2.57 GAA and .921 save percentage in 13 games playing for Team Sonnett in the PWHPA.
