On Friday, the Ottawa Charge announced that they have signed goaltender Kaitlyn Ross to a 10-day Standard Player Agreement.
Ross, from Redcliff, Alberta, is a graduate of Mount Royal University, and arrives to the team with a career 1.40 goals against average to go along with a .937 save percentage after five years at Mount Royal, where she is the program's all-time winningest goaltender.
This is not the first time PWHL fans have heard Ross' name, as the goaltender earned an invite to the Boston Fleet's camp earlier this season. Ross brings experience from both the university level, as well as internationally, where she's represented Canada at the International University Sports Federation (FISU) Winter World University Games.
According to the team, this signing "will help solidify depth in goal while rookie Sanni Ahola remains home in Ottawa for rest and maintenance."
The Charge return to the ice tomorrow, in Vancouver, to face off against the Goldeneyes.
