From the moment the Ottawa Charge walked in to TD Place Arena down what is now known as Electric Avenue, to Emily Clarks overtime, "walk off" winning goal, the City of Ottawa was charged up for the opening game of the PWHL Walter Cup finals.

Ottawa won game one 2-1 backstopped by an incredible performance from netminder Gwyneth Philips, and capped by Emily Clark's overtime winning goal.

Here's a look at the opening game of the PWHL finals through the lens of photographer Ellen Bond.
