
The PWHL handed out the hardware at their second annual PWHL Awards, this year held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Ottawa.
Taking home the biggest awards of the night was a list of the PWHL's top stars. That included Marie-Philip Poulin who has named the Billie Jean King MVP winner and also the PWHL's Best Forward. Her Montreal teammate Ann-Renee Desbiens was Best Goaltender, while their coach Kori Cheverie was the PWHL Coach of the Year. Toronto Sceptres blueliner Renata Fast was the Best Defender, while Sarah Fillier of the New York Sirens was the league's Rookie of the Year.

The PWHL held their annual award ceremony at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Ottawa on Wednesday. The league celebrated their top performers including the league's leading scorers in Hilary Knight and Sarah Fillier who both recorded 29 points in 30 games. Marie-Philip Poulin was also recognized as the league's top goal scorer notching 19 goals this season.
