There will be twelve nations represented across the six PWHL teams when rosters are officially announced tomorrow.

The PWHL will gain more international talent over the coming years, but that's not to say there won't be a large international contingent this season in the league.
The vast majority of the league will be comprised of American and Canadian players, but there will also be a significant number of European and Asian players named to PWHL rosters when the league formally announces lineups on Tuesday.
According to sources from across the league, that group will include players from 11 nations.
Ottawa is set to lead the way with players from six different countries, including multiple players from Canada, USA, and Czechia. Along with Germany's Sandra Abstreiter, the team is also expected to sign Japan's Akane Shiga and Hungary's Fanni Garat-Gasparics.
Moving down the line, New York is next up in international representation with five countries represented. Again, Canada and USA are tops, and the team had already announced the signing of France's Chloe Aurard. Also expected to be signed and named to New York's inaugural roster are Hungary's Taylor Baker and Sweden's Johanna Fallman.
Boston will also have five countries represented on their roster including American and Canadian players, Switzerland's Alina Muller, Austria's Theresa Schafzahl, and Sweden's Emma Soderberg.
Teams with four countries represented include Montreal and Minnesota. In Montreal there are multiple players from Canada, USA, and Czechia. China's Leah Lum is also expected to be a part of the roster. Minnesota has numerous American and Canadian players as well as Czechia's Denisa Krizova and Finland's Susanna Tapani.
The least nationally diverse team is Toronto, who has 20 Canadian players on their roster. The team also features Kali Flanagan and Jesse Compher from the USA, and Hannah Miller who has represented both Canada and China internationally.
