Whenever PWHL expansion comes, there will be a number of viable American markets waiting for their chance.
If it were up to fans who responded to THN-W's reader poll, Seattle and Chicago would be the preferred destinations.
Seattle led the way earning 30.57% of the vote, followed by Chicago who drew 19.26% of voters.
The next two cities in the rankings were Detroit and Buffalo.
If Seattle were to be considered, it would presumably come with at least one other West coast team. Considering Vancouver was the top vote earner in the Canadian version of this poll question, it could make the logical beginnings of a Western Conference.
Chicago however, would provide a regional intermediary for Minnesota, who currently is the only franchise outside of the East.
