Fans have been hoping to learn of possible team names for the six new PWHL franchises.

It appears the wait could be over as a US Trademark Database search revealed the following names that PWHL Holdings Inc has applied to secure

The filing was made October 25, 2023 by Attorney of Record David J. Steele.

While these names have been applied for, sports franchises often apply for multiple names, such as the Seattle Kraken, who had also trademarks names like the Seattle Steelheads, meaning this could be round one of multiple names.
