The PWHL announced the PWHL Draft order giving picks 3-6 to the league's four newest teams and pushing existing teams to the back of the order.
With only 48 hours until the first pick is made, the PWHL unveiled their 2026 Draft Order.
The league abandoned their own Gold Plan rules for draft order giving Vancouver the first overall pick, followed by the Seattle Torrent picking second overall. The league then abandoned the Gold Plan pushing the New York Sirens and Toronto Sceptres behind the league's four expansion teams with Detroit, San Jose, Las Vegas, and Hamilton picking next.
After the expansion teams, New York and Toronto will pick, with the Minnesota Frost, Boston Fleet, Ottawa Charge, and Montreal Victoire.
