A season sell out in Toronto, and home opener sell outs in Ottawa and Montreal, with sales continuing to rise in American markets. The PWHL is riding a wave of sales at the moment.

Every day is a good day right now for the PWHL in terms of attendance figures.

PWHL Toronto announced this week that they'd sold out all 12 home games for their inaugural season at Mattamy Athletic Centre, the former Maple Leaf Gardens. While the arena has a listed capacity just over 2600, with standing room, suites, and additional seating options, PWHL Toronto's home capacity for those sell outs is 3850.

That number is better than five American Hockey League teams, 13 ECHL clubs, and 14 OHL teams this season.

Toronto's tickets disappeared in minutes, leading many to believe that the team could easily fill a bigger venue like Toronto's Coca-Cola Coliseum, home to the AHL's Toronto Marlies.

Up the road in Ottawa, PWHL Ottawa passed 7000 tickets sold for their home opener in a facility with a 7500 capacity. The team expects a complete sell out of the opener to be announced in the coming days.

In Montreal, PWHL Montreal sold out their home opener as well, with all 4,114 seats at the Verdun Auditorium vanishing the same day the team put single game tickets on the market.

While no specific numbers are coming out of American markets, a quick look at Minnesota's home opener at the Xcel Energy Center shows they're also selling strong for their home opener against Montreal.
