
The PWHL is looking to grow the game from the grassroots up by hosting a series of youth hockey clinics ahead of season two.

The PWHL is set to host youth hockey clinics in all six markets ahead of the 2024-2025 season.
"Launching our youth clinics marks a significant milestone for the PWHL and an important step in expanding our fan base,” said Kristen Richards, Director of Player Development & Grassroots Growth for the PWHL. “Our goal is to foster the next generation of hockey talent while helping the sport grow across all levels. By creating meaningful opportunities for youth athletes to engage with the game and connect with our passionate players and coaches, we’re laying the foundation for a lasting legacy in women’s hockey and inspiring the future of the sport."
That process with begin Monday, October 14 at Verdun Auditorium for youth in the U-13 and U-11 divisions.
"The Montreal Victoire hockey clinics provide a special opportunity for young hockey players and goalies to develop their skills with the guidance of professional players and coaching staff," the PWHL wrote. "Our goal is to inspire a love for the game while helping players unlock their full potential in an enjoyable and supportive environment."
That day, the Boston Fleet will also hold a camp of their own at the Boston Sports Institute with U-14 and U-12 divisions, as well as the U-16 and U-19 divisions. Boston's even will involve on-ice sessions, strength and conditioning, mental performance training, and Q&A with coaches and players.
Later in the week, Minnesota will host three consecutive days of youth clinics at TRIA Rink From October 16-18 for 12-U, 10-U, and 8-U players. Minnesota says the youth clinics "welcome players of all skill levels for a fun and engaging on-ice session, followed by a meet and greet with PWHL athletes."
On November 8, days prior to the opening of PWHL training camps, the Ottawa Charge will host a camp for U-11 and U-9 players at TD Place Arena.
The Toronto Sceptres and New York Sirens will also be running clinics, with dates and details to come.
