PWHL Las Vegas sign Issy Wunder, Josefin Bouveng, and Kendall Butze to two 2-year-contracts.

Today, PWHL Las Vegas announced that they have added a trio of drafted players in Issy Wunder, Josefin Bouveng, and Kendall Butze ,to their signed roster, joining Lacey Eden and Tessa Janecke. All five players are signed through the 2027-28 season.  

Issy Wunder, drafted 13th overall, comes to Las Vegas following four seasons at Princeton University. Wunder, 22, led the Tigers in goals (27) and points (43) during her 2025-26 campaign, and was named Ivy League Player of the Year, All-ECAC First Team, and a top-ten finalist for the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award, each for the second straight season. The Toronto, Ontario native finished her collegiate career with 146 points (70G, 76A) in 129 games. 

Josefin Bouveng, 25, hails from Uppsala, Sweden and has represented her country internationally numerous times, on top of a successful collegiate career prior to the draft. Bouveng, drafted 29th overall, played four seasons at the University of Minnesota, where she recorded 142 career points (56G, 86A). Bouveng represented Sweden in Milan, her second Olympic Winter Games. She has also appeared in four IIHF Women’s World Championships. 

Kendall Butze, 23, was selected 49th overall by Las Vegas and was their only drafted defender. Butze spent four years at Penn State, graduating as the programs all time leader in career points by a defender with 94, including 79 assists. The Cleveland, Ohio native was named the AHA’s Best Defender for the second consecutive season after recording career highs in goals (5), assists (28) and points (33) in her final campaign.
