Ten women's hockey writers from The Hockey News made their picks for who would finish last overall, and who the bottom four teams in the PWHL would be this season. Here's a look, and have your say.
Ten women's hockey writers from The Hockey News picked the teams they believe will finish at the top, and bottom of the PWHL this season. It includes a handful of PWHL expansion teams, including the team THN picked to finish at the bottom of the standings this season, San Jose.

PWHL San Jose's roster building process didn't inspire confidence among the ten writers polled. The team struggled to grab the same level of experience, instead leaning into youthful potential. There's certainly a world where Troy Ryan's team clicks and San Jose exceeds every expectation.
It was a battle at the bottom among three other teams - Toronto, Seattle, and Las Vegas - who all garnered a pair of last place votes. The New York Sirens also received a single last place vote.
Last season the Seattle Torrent finished last ending the season with 31 points, five fewer than New York. The two missed the playoffs along with the Vancouver Goldeneyes and Toronto Sceptres.
Who will be the bottom four teams in the PWHL?It might come as a surprise, but at least one team on this list is going to make the PWHL playoffs. With four teams from each of the league's six-team conferences making the playoffs this season, one of Las Vegas, Seattle, and San Jose mathematically must make the playoffs.
For this vote, each writer ranked who they believed would be the bottom four teams with last place votes counting for four points, second last for three, third last for two, and fourth from the bottom one point.
PWHL San Jose and the Toronto Sceptres finished tied in points as the two teams voted consistently at the bottom of the league, with Seattle and Las Vegas earning the next most mentions for being in the PWHL basement.
Who do you think will be the PWHL's worst teams this season? (Comment Below)
