The PWHL has released dates for waiver periods, trade deadline, draft declaration and more. Here are the details.
The PWHL this week released their key dates for the 2024-25 season. The first of those dates, mini-camps has already begun in Montreal and Toronto.
Following camps, a waiver period opens at 5pm ET on November 26 and ends the following day at 3pm. This period will allow players to receive offers from teams after being released from tryouts. On November 27, following the waiver period, teams must be roster compliant by 5pm.
Three days later the PWHL's second season begins with a pair of games on the schedule. First, Boston will visit Toronto playing a 2pm game at Coca-Cola Coliseum, followed by Ottawa travelling to Place Bell to take on the Montreal Victoire.
Following the season launch, international breaks will be the lone dates to watch before the March 1 PWHL Draft Declaration period officially opens, which will run until May 8.
The PWHL's Trade Deadline will take place at 12pm on March 2, followed by the league's roster freeze date 24 hours later.
The regular season comes to a close on May 3, with the PWHL playoffs opening May 6.
