PWHL San Jose add former Jr. Shark Brooke Bryant to roster on 1-year contract.
PWHL San Jose announced today that forward Brooke Bryant has joined their inaugural roster. Bryant made PWHL history as the first California-born and trained player. The 25-year-old began her PWHL career in Minnesota, winning back-to-back Walter Cup titles. Bryant recorded five points (2G, 3A) in 57 games in two seasons with the Frost before spending the 2025-26 season with the Seattle Torrent, where she registered one assist in 23 games.
Brooke Bryant as a Jr. SharkBryant is a product of the San Jose Jr. Sharks program, where she played before spending her collegiate career at Minnesota State University. Bryant also won gold with Team USA at the 2024 Inline Hockey World Championships.
With this move, San Jose now has 13 players under contract including forwards Anne Cherkowski, Maggie Connors, Natálie Mlýnková, Kristin O’Neill, Maddi Wheeler, defenders Kristin Della Rovere. Rory Guilday, Hadley Hartmetz, Mariah Keopple, Daniela Pejšová, as well as goaltenders Corrine Schroeder and Abbey Levy.
