PWHL Montreal and PWHL Toronto will set a new record for attendance at a women's hockey game when more than 21,000 fans file into the Bell Centre, home of the Montreal Canadiens, today for the PWHL's Duel at the Top.

A single point in the game for Toronto would punch their ticket to the playoffs, while a regulation Montreal win coupled with a Boston loss would secure Montreal's playoff spot.

With Montreal on the verge of securing a playoff spot, it was also learned this weekend that PWHL Montreal will play their playoff games at Place Bell in Laval, where the team has sold out multiple games this season bringing in 10,172 fans, which stood as a short lived Canadian attendance record for professional women's hockey. Pat Laprade was the first to report Montreal's playoff home.

Playoff locations have been a topic for debate, as it has long been rumored PWHL Toronto may attempt to play their playoff games at Scotiabank Arena, however the NHL playoffs could factor into that decision.

PWHL New York is also testing a new arena this weekend heading to play at New Jersey's Prudential Center where the team looks to break their own home attendance record of 4,459 set at UBS Arena on March 3.
