PWHL Seattle has signed their first-ever draft pick, inking forward Jenna Buglioni to a two-year deal. Buglioni was Seattle's first round pick, selected 8th overall in the 2025 PWHL Draft.
“Jenna is a cerebral player who excels in every zone and simplifies the game,” said PWHL Seattle General Manager Meghan Turner. “She's solid on the faceoff dot, demonstrates patient puck support, and shows up in big moments. Her work ethic, positivity, and competitive attitude will have a big impact on our bench and in the locker room.”
Buglioni, 23, won two national titles with Ohio State while scoring 166 points in 170 career games. She also represented Canada's national development team last season and played for Canada at the U-18 World Championships prior to college.
“I am so honored and grateful to sign with PWHL Seattle,” said Buglioni. “Being able to begin my professional career around such elite athletes is a dream come true. Also, seeing how engaged Seattle fans are, I am excited to help bring PWHL hockey to the best fans in the West.”
Buglioni is the first member of PWHL Seattle’s inaugural draft to sign. Seattle also selected Hannah Murphy, Lily Delianedis, Jada Habisch, Olivia Wallin, and Lyndie Lobdell.
