PWHL Ottawa packed TD Place Arena all season, but their time in the facility won't last forever, as the building is scheduled to be demolish in a few short seasons.

PWHL Ottawa quickly developed the strongest fan base of any of the PWHL's six teams. The team averaged 7,496 fan per gam last season, best in the PWHL.
They became the hottest ticket at TD Place Arena, a cornerstone of Lansdowne Park, alongside the TD Place Stadium, home of the CFL's Ottawa Redblacks.
Since before PWHL Ottawa existed, plans have been in the works to completely redesign Lansdowne Park in partnership with the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group, including TD Place Arena.
In terms of TD Place Arena, it's scheduled to be demolished in only a few short years. In its place will be a new event centre, but current plans only call for the event centre to seat 5,500 fans.
It's a 2000 less fans per game, despite the fact fan growth and support for PWHL Ottawa in the city is likely to grow by the time the new arena is set to open, and TD Place Arena is demolished.
The plan was first devised with only the OHL's Ottawa 67s in mind, and would have been more than enough to accommodate the 67s who last season averaged 4,213 fans this season.
The City is hosting a public meeting where citizens, or in this case concerned PWHL Ottawa fans can attend to provide feedback. The first of those in person events takes place Tuesday, June 18, from 6:30 to 8pm inside Gate 2 at TD Place Arena.
