The Bell Centre, the 21,000 seat home to the NHL's Montreal Canadians, sold out in under an hour today for the Duel At The Top, the PWHL's planned visit to the arena.

With the sold out game to watch PWHL Toronto face PWHL Montreal, a new women's hockey attendance record will be broken, replacing the "Battle on Bay Street" record set at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena of 19,285 earlier this season.

Earlier this month, a new American professional women's hockey attendance record was set at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, which saw 13,736 fans in attendance to watch PWHL Boston face PWHL Ottawa.

The Bell Center is the biggest hockey arena in North America, meaning the only way to continue to break attendance records for women's hockey would be hosting outdoor games, which are an aspect that remains in discussion among PWHL leaders.
