Sources have confirmed PWHL Toronto is set to add one of the PWHL's top stars to an already packed arsenal of forwards.

It's sounds as though PWHL Toronto and forward Daryl Watts have landed on an agreement to bring Watts to the team.

Watts was 9th in PWHL scoring last season with Ottawa scoring 18 points in 24 games.

Several other teams were in the running for Watts most notably Boston, Montreal, and her previous team in Ottawa. Earlier in the day, Watts ruled out Ottawa and chose to discuss exclusively with the three other teams. Watts reportedly ended up turning down significantly more money from other teams to choose Toronto.

Watts is a former Patty Kazmaier winner who dazzled with PWHL Ottawa last season hinting her total may only be the tip of the iceberg.

Watts played in Toronto in 2022-2023 winning an Isobel Cup title with the PHF's Toronto Six.

She'll certainly have skill to work with in Toronto with a forward group that already includes Sarah Nurse, Natalie Spooner, Emma Maltais, Julia Gosling, Blayre Turnbull and others.

    More to come.
