The team announced one-year contracts for goaltender Kendra Woodland, defenders Kate Reilly and Jocelyne Larocque, and forward Kateřina Mrázová

On Thursday, the Ottawa Charge announced one-year contract extensions for Kendra Woodland, defenders Kate Reilly and Jocelyne Larocque. In addition, the team re-signed forward Kateřina Mrázová to a two-year contract. Each contract was a Standard Player Agreement.

Mrázová, who has been with the team since its inaugural season, finished this past year playing in every game for the club and recording two goals and nine points, while adding the first two career postseason points in the team's run to the Walter Cup Finals. Over her career with the team, Mrázová has registered 34 points in 67 games.

Larocque, who was acquired by the team in a trade in 2024, was named alternate captain this past season. Consistent on the blue line during the regular season, Larocque has stepped up to play important roles in the team's back-to-back trips to the Walter Cup Finals. She has 25 points (2G, 23A) in 83 career regular-season games and nine points (2G, 7A) in 21 career postseason matches.

Reilly was a camp invitee last season and played in 25 regular-season games for the team, recording four assists and appeared in all eight of the team's postseason games. Reilly took a year away from the game to attend medical school at the University of British Columbia.

Like Reilly, Woodland was also a camp invitee and remained with the team primarily as its third goaltender, but did make a relief appearance for the Charge in a game against Minnesota on March 18. Woodland is a three-time AUS First Team All-Star and was named U SPORTS Player of the Year for the 2022-23 season.

These four signings bring the team to 10 players under contract heading into next season, including forwards Rebecca Leslie, Gabbie Hughes and Michela Cava, defenders Ronja Savolainen and Emma Greco, and goaltender Gwyneth Philips.
