Stan Kasten discusses what he called a "very strong" response to the PWHL's call for ticket deposits for their inaugural season.

The PWHL's preseason ticket promotion is over, but according to Stan Kasten, the response was strong.

According to PWHL advisory board member Stan Kasten, "the response has been very strong" to the league's ticket deposit promotion.

The league offered fans the opportunity to become "Founding Fans" by placing a $50 deposit. The deposit ensured these fans were first in line when tickets come out, and came with "a small gift" from the PWHL. The entirety of the $50 will become a credit for fans to use toward tickets at a later date. The promotion ended November 14 on the eve of PWHL training camps opening.

"We are very pleased," Kasten said of the ticket deposits.

Kasten stated the response has varied from market to market, but those differences will also allow the league to plan a marketing strategy in each individual market.
