The Montreal Victoire scored three in the third period to earn a PWHL Takeover Tour win over the New York Sirens in front of 15,938 fans at Detroit's Little Caesars Arena.

The New York Sirens looked as though they'd break out of their post-Olympic funk after scoring early against the Montreal Victoire in Detroit, but a third period rally from the Victoire lifted Montreal to a 3-1 win.

In the opening frame, Casey O'Brien got the Sirens on the board first banging home a rebound to beat Ann-Renee Desbiens. It looked like New York extended their lead further after Kristen O'Neill tipped home a Micah Zandee-Hart point shot, but video review overturned the goal ruling it a high stick.

Heading to the third period down 1-0, Montreal rallied with three unanswered goals in the first half of the frame.

Catherine Dubois scored the first two for the Victoire. The first came off a neutral zone turnover by New York which Natalie Mlynkova carried into the zone before dropping to Dubois who scored from the slot.

Dubois' second came off another New York turnovber, this time behind their own net. After a board battle Shiann Darkangelo found Dubois net front where she beat Kayle Osborne for her second.

49 seconds later Laura Stacey scored her sixth of the season to close out the scoring and give Montreal the insurance they needed for the win.

The regulation win pulled Montreal within two points of first overall Boston, but kept New York on the outside of the playoff picture.

Montreal now has points in 11 straight games tying the Toronto Sceptres' mark from year one of the PWHL.
