The Seattle Torrent have activated captain Hilary Knight from LTIR. Knight spent the Olympics playing on a torn MCL and was unable to return to PWHL action. The Torrent have placed Brooke Bryant on their reserve list to make room.
The Seattle Torrent have activated captain Hilary Knight from long-term injured reserve (LTIR). Knight has not played since the 2026 Olympics where she captained USA to a gold medal.
It was later revealed Knight had been playing on a torn MCL.
In 14 games prior to the Olympics, Knight had three goals and 10 points. Last season Knight tied for the league scoring lead as a member of the Boston Fleet with 29 points in 30 games.
She joined Seattle signing in the exclusive expansion signing window.
In a corresponding move to make room for Knight's return, the Torrent moved Brooke Bryant to their reserve roster. Bryant helped the Minnesota Frost win back-to-back Walter Cup titles in the first two seasons of PWHL action before making Seattle's roster this season as a free agent training camp invite.
Bryant has appeared in 22 games this season for Settle recording one assist.
