Noora Tulus, the 13th overall pick in the 2024 PWHL Draft, and the PWHL have mutually agreed to terminate the final year of Tulus' contract, allowing her to return to Europe.

Tulus initially requested to have her contract terminated prior to the expansion draft, but with expansion, and other players looking to change places this offseason, it took time for the league to agree to allow Tulus to walk away from the two-year contract she signed prior to last season.

A longtime member of Finland's national team, Tulus immediately signed with Brynas IF in the SDHL. Brynas has loaded up this offseason signing Viivi Vainikka, Klara Peslarova, and Elin Svensson among others.

Last season Tulus played in all 30 games for the New York Sirens recording a goal and an assist and finishing -12.

The season prior she led the SDHL in scoring with 61 points in 36 games with Lulea.

Tulus struggled to adapt to the physicality and lack of space in North America this season.

With Finland, Tulus has two Olympic bronze medals and six World Championship medals including one silver and five bronze.

Four European PWHL players have returned to international leagues this offseason including Tulus, Klara Peslarova, Noemi Neubauerova, and Emma Soderberg.
