The Montreal Victoire have signed PWHL veteran Alexandra Labelle to a one-year contract extension. In 19 games last season, Labelle had a goal and four points, and was a key contributor down the middle for Montreal.

"Alexandra's arrival last season allowed us to add much-needed depth to our attack. Her attitude and work ethic are key elements we can count on again," said Victoire general manager Danièle Sauvageau.

Labelle spent her first season in the PWHL playing for the New York Sirens before joining Montreal last season as a free agent.

"I wore the Victory uniform with great pride last season, and I'm very happy to have the opportunity to do so again. Not only will I have the chance to play with my teammates, whom I adore, and in front of my family and friends, but I'll also have the chance to play in front of the best fans in the league," said Labelle.
