Emma Soderberg is one of the best in the world, and she's looking to get better. The Swedish Player of the Year who signed this offseason to play with the PHF's Connecticut Whale has high hopes for the next stage of her already decorated career.

"I felt like this is a place where I feel like I can continue to develop in my hockey career," Soderberg said of Connecticut. "Ultimately that's what I want. I want to continue to get better each day."

Soderberg had so much faith in her decision, that she signed a two-year contract with the Whale. Voted an All-Star at the 2023 women's World Championship, Soderberg sees the talent headed to the PHF.

"The PHF have shown that they want to take the game of women's hockey very seriously and that they're providing a platform for it. So I think that's why it's attracting a lot of talent right now."
