The PWHL Takeover Tour was a smashing success during the 2024-25 season. It featured stops in Seattle and Vancouver that proved to be the final test runs for PWHL expansion to the west.
While season one saw neutral site games in Pittsburgh and Detroit as part of a "takeover" weekend, the 2024-25 season was the first in an inaugural PWHL Takeover Tour. The 2024-25 Tour featured nine neutral-site regular-season games, drawing a total of 123,601 fans.
The Vancouver game drew a sold-out crowd of 19,038 at Rogers Arena, while Detroit's second game at Little Caesars Arena not only broke the American attendance record for the second straight season drawing a crowd of 14,288 fans, but it was also the game where the league surpassed their one millionth fan all-time.
The PWHL has no plans in stopping their Takeover Tour as it helped propel the league to new attendance marks.
