Haley Winn, Nicole Gosling, and Casey O'Brien have been named the 2026 PWHL Rookie of the Year finalists.

The PWHL has announced that Casey O'Brien of the New York Sirens, Haley Winn of the Boston Fleet, and Nicole Gosling of the Montreal Victoire are the 2026 PWHL Rookie of the Year finalists.

According to the league, "The PWHL Rookie of the Year award presented by Ally Financial is awarded to the player who showcases the most outstanding ability throughout their first regular season of professional play. Players eligible must be competing in their first season of professional hockey in North America and begin the season in their 25th birth year or younger. For Season Three, 2000-born players are eligible for the Rookie of the Year award."

Gosling was the fourth overall pick by the Montreal Victoire at the 2025 PWHL Draft. This season she scored 19 points in 30 games for Montreal averaging 21:17 per game and helped the Victoire win a Walter Cup.

Nicole Gosling highlights

O'Brien, the third overall pick was the leading scorer for the New York Sirens one season after winning the Patty Kazmaier Award and leading the NCAA in scoring. She finished the season with 22 points in 28 games, tops of all rookies.

Winn had 19 points in 30 games from the Boston Fleet blueline and sat second in the league in time on ice averaging more than 26 minutes per game.

The PWHL Awards will be handed out June 16 in Detroit.
