Just 10 days ago, Abby Boreen was celebrating the first ever Walter Cup with PWHL Minnesota. She played in 9 games in the league last season as a reserve and also played five games in the PWHL playoffs helping Minnesota to a Walter Cup Championship.
To re-enter the league this season, Boreen needed to re-enter the draft.
Now, the University of Minnesota alumni is set to be selected in St. Paul, Minnesota in front of her friends and family.
