Emotional Rollercoaster In Dying Seconds Of PWHL Final, Watch The Goals

After Sophie Jaques apparent Walter Cup clinching double overtime goal was disallowed for Minnesota, Boston scored 1:10 after Minnesota's celebration began to win the game and send the series to a deciding game five.

Watch Sophie Jaques' disallowed goal that PWHL Minnesota thought was the Walter Cup winner, to Alina Muller of PWHL Boston's actual double overtime goal to prolong the series.

With 2:34 remaining in double overtime, Sophie Jaques scored, what Minnesota thought to be the PWHL Walter Cup clinching goal.

Minnesota rushed the ice throwing gloves and helmets into the air as they celebrated what they believed was a historic moment for all of them.

But minutes later, the referee stepped to center ice and signalled "no goal" after a lengthy review where the officials deemed that Taylor Heise, who had driven the net to generate the scoring chance, had slid into Boston netminder Aerin Frankel on her own, meaning it was goaltender interference and no goal.

One minute and ten seconds later, the game actually ended, but this time off the stick of PWHL Boston forward Alina Muller.

Muller rushed off the ice, and the game was over, 1-0 in double overtime.

It was one of the wildest rides of emotion that could occur in professional sport.
